Overview:
Hazer Group is an ASX-listed (ASX:HZR) technology company undertaking the commercialisation of the Hazer Process: a low-emission hydrogen and graphite production process. The Hazer Process enables the effective conversion of methane feedstocks, such as natural gas or biogas, into hydrogen and graphite by using iron ore as a process catalyst. The carbon in the gas feedstock is captured as a saleable graphite product rather than a waste CO2. The technology originated at the University of Western Australia. In January 2024 the company announced the first production from its Commercial Demonstration Plant.
